五月二十二日星期日，在「勃勃海洋」香港區成員Janet Summer、Jeffrey Lee及Yann Chambrier的帶領下，一群來自「沉樂會」(沉樂會 @ Submersion DIVERsion) 的熱心潛水員，在東平洲海岸公園進行了一次海底清潔活動。
雖然當天天氣惡劣，二十五位潛水員仍然清理了大量膠袋、廢棄魚網、空罐及其他垃圾。這些廢物不但破壞海底景色，而且會極度損害海岸公園的海洋環境。他們的行動值得喝釆。
所有參與活動的人度過了很有意義的一天。他們熱切期待，下次再有機會為清潔香港重要的海域作出貢獻。
On Sunday the 22nd May, Living Seas Hong Kong members Janet Summer, Jeffrey Lee and Yann Chambrier, led a group of keen divers from 沉樂會 @ Submersion DIVERsion on an underwater cleanup event at Tung Ping Chau Marine Park.
Despite the weather doing its best to ruin the day, 25 divers participated to collect plastic bags, discarded nets, cans and other refuse that not only spoils the underwater scenery but greatly disturbs the marine environment in the Marine Park. A job well done.
Everyone had a great day and all are looking forward to the next opportunity to help clean up our important marine areas.
