Species survey @popular HK dive sight

On Sunday 5th July 2020, core members of Living Seas Hong Kong conducted some exploratory dives at East Dam in Sai Kung. East Dam is a popular dive site and at times can be busy with multiple dive boats.

On this particular day, the team found a variety of species and some seldom seen behavior, limited areas of healthy coral. Whilst the dive site is okay, Living Seas Hong Kong believes that it is important that all dive operators and all divers exhibit careful adherence to good diving practices to help preserve our reef areas. This includes ensuring proper anchoring, “leave only bubbles, take only photos”, no touch policy, and good buoyancy skills.

Diver briefings, designed to educate on good practices and dive objectives.
